A Big August for The Overlords!

August 2025 is shaping up to be one for the record books. I'll be participating at Fan Expo Boston, August 8-10, and I'm bringing my whole inventory to the show. The past two times I've attended this event, I've sold over 80 books each time. That's incredible! I'm hoping that this year will be more of the same. If you're at the show, stop by Table 514.

The following week, I'll be hopping a plane to Chicago to join fellow authors Tabitha Lord and Heather Rigney at Fan Expo Chicago, August 15-17. I've never done this show, but with 75,000 people expected in attendance, I'm hoping that I get lots of new Overlords fans! This is the first time that I'm bringing my fantasy series to the Midwest and I'm hoping it makes a huge splash. If you're attending this event, we'll be in Artists Alley at booth AP26.

The news keeps getting better! Earlier this year, the Association of Rhode Island Authors opened submissions for their 2025 anthology with a theme "Something Extraordinary". I whipped up a 2500 or so word story called The High Fructose Corn Syrup Debacle -- and it made the cut! On Friday, August 22nd, we'll be having an Anthology Launch Party at Stillwater Books in West Warwick, RI. The party starts at 6 PM and is FREE to the public.

I'll be there buying a copy for myself, but it's also a great chance to meet other authors whose stories are in the anthology, as well as to mingle with some of RI's best literary talent. Also, every sale helps our association raise much-needed money. I hope to see you there!
